ABOUT OUR BAKERY

Maverick Ventures will own and operate a state-of-the art cookie and snack production company, operating in a 220,000 square foot facility. The climate controlled building is located less than 3 hours north of New York City. The facility will see eight cookie production lines and a pan-bakery line, along with seven tunnel ovens.

Maverick Biscuits will create two types of cookies: ​

  • Hard-style -- positioned in the center of the supermarket in packaging designed for a 9 to 12-month shelf life without refrigeration, and 

 

  • Bakery-style -- which is shipped frozen to the supermarket and thawed, or “slacked out,” within minutes, for display in the bakery or deli section of a supermarket, with a shelf life of approximately three to four weeks once thawed.

Our state of the art facility will have seven tunnel ovens, meaning we can produce high quality at a high speed. Our tunnel ovens will be the heart of our high speed production line, in addition our pan bakery line will allow us to streamline production.

The facility will have the ability to service in around 2.8 days, while being able to reach 1,200+ miles. 

​

The company’s management team will be led by cookie-industry leaders with decades of experience in cost-effectively producing exceptional baked goods.
